Graffiti

Graffiti has existed since ancient times, and archeologists have found pictures dating from ancient Egypt to the time of the Roman Empire. It has come a long way since then, artist Darryl McCray “Cornbread” bringing it into the American spotlight in 1965, and in 1980, galleries started showcasing graffiti as art pieces. However, graffiti still serves the purpose of bringing attention to sometimes controversial subjects.
How will you tell your story? What will you bring attention to? What matters to you? When you do your art, who are you trying to reach? Regardless, we are here to honor all artists and have supplies to help you bring your art to the fore!
